The Singapore Girls Scouts held their annual Daisy and Brownie Day Camp at Sembawang Park on Saturday February 6, 2010. With relay races and hands-on projects, this event is always one of the most popular events of the year.
During the event the girls were guided through day camp by adult volunteers from their troop through various stations with fun activities that this year will work towards earning the Brownie Safety Award, an earned pin. We also had the fun task of running our own activity booth.
Older girls received service and community service hours for helping the younger scouts have a great time at day camp. It was a fun way for our girls to explore new ideas and see for themselves how big USA Girl Scouts Overseas really is.
